If you’re guilty of this.. There’s pros and c If you’re guilty of this..

There’s pros and cons to both.

Yes meal prep can take time and effort , but you’re saving excessive calories from restaurant sauces/oils , having higher quality food, reducing costs , and ensuring you have food for your meals without having to this of it later on.

Eating out is fun , delicious, and enjoyable, but the experience has a cost, you dont know what ingredients they are using (often times lower quality ingredients depending on the restaurant and location) and so on.

If you’re eating out 3x a week and wondering why you haven’t seen weight loss progress consider these habits when it comes to eating at home vs. take out.

To get started on how to meal prep smarter and not harder while achieving your wellness weight 🙏🏻DM me to work 1:1🌈
To eat or not eat the sweet Having an internal d To eat or not eat the sweet

Having an internal debate whether or not you should be eating certain foods or food groups

Creates unnecessary stress and overwhelm that will inevitably cause an unhealthy relationship with food

If you’re having a craving it’s better off to just eat it and move on

However if these cravings are constantly reoccurring it may be better to asses why you’re even having the craving in the first place

Which can be due to hormonal health, habits, lack of sleep, increased stress, inadequate protein or fiber, micronutrient deficiencies and so on

To understand what foods fit best for your body DM me to work 1:1💓
Imagine if you had nachos during the week and a ka Imagine if you had nachos during the week and a kale salad on a Saturday 😂

What happens when you skimp on your meals..

You end up making up for it at night😅

you’re inevitably going to feel out of control around food because your body was begging for energy ALL DAY

Then you over eat, probably feel overly full and uncomfortable in your body, maybe even feeling guilty for how much you ate

But it’s not your fault, your body was just trying to make up for what you were missing out on during the day

Also.. 👇🏻 might be due to reasons like not enough protein / fat / fiber , all or nothing mindset & more

Instead of blaming yourself for over doing at the end of the day and trying to restrict the next morning, incorporate balanced plates earlier in the day and even out your eating

& dont forget Thursday happy hours 😅 You get t & dont forget Thursday happy hours 😅

You get to work on Monday thinking that this week you are going to eat so good, and somehow by Friday your whole week feels ruined.

Eventful eating doesn’t have to break the bank in your healthy lifestyle

Nor does it have to feel like it’s all or nothing

Tips:

Choose certain days you want to opt out or indulge

Pack balanced meals (like hard boiled eggs or overnight oats for breakfast and sandwiches, green bowls or salads for lunches)

Prep a few favorite meals to have on rotation so you dont feel desperate to get take out or feeling deprived compared to what others are having

If you’re ready to learn how to manage eventful eating while maintain your goals I am accepting 1:1 fall session clients!
