Spicy White Mac n Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 box Pasta (to make gluten free, I used Banza)
  • 1 bag Shredded Pepper Jack Cheese (to make dairy free, I used Miyokos Creamery)
  • 1/4 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • Optional: black pepper, chili flakes, paprika, garlic powder and onion powder

Instructions

  • Cook pasta accordingly, saving some of the pasta water.
  • In a saucepan, heat the butter and milk on medium heat until it begins to simmer.
  • Stir in the cheese
  • Mix in additional spices
  • Add in the pasta with a splash of pasta water
  • Mix until well combined, add more pasta water to get desired consistency
  • Enjoy!
